Putting Everything Together (Jason Webley Documentary)

This is the documentary I made for my KU Film and Media Studies capstone. It is a thorough look at the career and music of Jason Webley, an independent musician from Everett, Washington. It was inspired a lot by another documentary on UA-cam called "Only Just Beginning" by Lorette dewolf (clips from it appear in the video). Additional props to HereWithYou Video, who uploaded all the footage of the 11/11/11 concert.
Today is a good day to upload the project, being the 20th anniversary of Against the Night.

Documentary produced for FMS 498 independent honors study, Spring 2019. It covers the importance of schools to small towns in southeast Kansas and the threats they face from shrinking enrollment and budget cuts. (re-uploaded to fix framing in a specific interview shot) I do not own the 2 tracks by Sam 'n Ash that are used in this video, those can be found on samnash.bandcamp.com

I edited my original cut of Knock Knock. The only real change was fixing the light switch shot that dragged on for too long in the previous cut. This is the second revised version, as the last upload didn't have the title text for some reason.

My On-Demand Video entry for TSA State 2014. We had 24 hours to shoot a video that had to contain three pennies, a character whose face isn't revealed, and an unexpected event. This has all of those. When I find albums like this, it reminds me to never stop searching for great music.

This song is almost lost media now
they really should make all their old back catalog available digitally again like it was on their old old store page, but at least this one is on the Tonight at the Arizona reissue cd which i think they still sell (compared to albums like iantown and Through these Reins and Gone which are basically relegated to finding the albums through piracy or discogs)
Update: I just checked and it turns out that both versions of Tonight at the Arizona are on itunes now, so this song can be easily obtained. However, same can still not be said for Iantown, TTRaG, and Adventures of the Felice Brothers vol. 1

around 3400 in the us, 4965 in germany, and 9703 overall as of 2014 data. Incidentally, mine comes from relatives in Austria (which had 71).
Is there anything they create to not be amazing? I can't have enough of their music.

Love the first one, so depressing and real
I like most of what these guys do but I have a strong feeling that Ian should go back to writing songs like the opening track, which is simple, true and stunning.
I've always thought there's something about their pre-self titled work that isn't captured in what came after. It's more emotionally raw, intimate, and stripped down, whereas their later work is more produced and theatrical (not bad, mind you, but different still).

Iantown I got off of Grooveshark, Adventures I had to get the cd for. Pretty pricey, but it's unbelievably hard to find.
